Pet Couriers will deliver puppies, kittens or olders animals that you have sold to their new homes saving yourselves or your customers the time and trouble of collecting themselves.
We always aim to collect early morning to enable us to deliver at a reasonable time to allow the animals time to acclimatize to their new homes before bed time. On very long trips we would prefer to collect in the evening and travel overnight thus arriving in the morning at the new home. we can feed and water the animals during the trip at recommended times and change the bedding when needed. With older dogs we can walk them during breaks to enable them to stretch their legs and have a wee etc. All animals are treated with care and are spoken to so as to reassure them and make their journey as enjoyable as possible, remember their first journey by car can set the pattern for the rest of their life.
Safety:
Please note that we do not carry for more than one breeder / home at a time, we will however collect a number of animals from one breeder and deliver to various new homes. This is to avoid the risk of cross infections from multiple homes / kennels. This also avoids stress to puppies and kittens being with larger animals (image a kitten in the same vehicle as a guard dog and the stress this would cause, probably to the guard dog if it's anything like my shepherd.)
We prefer not to carry animals under the age of 8 weeks as we consider it to young for them to be seperated from their mothers.
